Ø What is Infinite Intelligence?
Ø How much intelligence do we really posess?
Ø Is earth – the natural child of the Sun?
Ø Is Moon, the son / daughter of earth?
The universe possesses Infinite intelligence. This ‘Intelligence’ – is nothing but the knowledge of the Universe itself.
We search for intelligent beings (like us!) all over the Universe, without the knowledge (perhaps) that wherever we are searching, there is a huge , intelligent being (or many of them) watching us.
Anything in the Universe, which moves by itself and performs variety of functions is (possibly) a live and intelligent being.
By this simple definition, the Sun, the Stars, the Galaxies etc are all hugely intelligent beings.
The earth and the Moon are also live and hugely intelligent beings by this definition.
We, the human beings, are born almost wholly from these huge, Intelligent beings.
We are one hundred percent, derived from the earth, the sun (fire), the water, the air and the space. And we subsist on them as we live.
All that we know is – all motion stops in us when we die. And, all human functions come to an end. The cosmic forces become active in disintegrating the body and taking away their portion of ‘us’ to themselves.
Only a small part of our ‘life’ is placed within our intelligence. What happens before and after our human life span – is kept beyond our
Intelligence.
In comparison with the huge, Intelligent being called the earth that we live on and that supports us, we are tiny specks. We, in proportion to the earth’s size, are no different from the white cells, red cells etc that live and die within our human body daily.
The white cells and red cells in us are also bestowed with the same universal intelligence, but proportionate to their needs – just as we are bestowed with the some intelligence proportionate to our needs.
The earth’s life, as part of the solar system is much longer in time and space than human life. The Sun’s life in the (Milky way) Galaxy is also similar but longer in time and space. The Galaxy’s life in the bigger entity that it is part of, is equally similar and much longer.
The Universe ends nowhere – but the intelligent entities that we can experience may grow bigger and bigger, as our knowledge of the universe grows larger and larger.
We don’t understand much of the life of earth, moon, sun etc – except that they go round themselves and around a bigger being in a particular orbit.
The earth has huge capabilities to create and procreate varieties of live beings on itself – including the human beings, and they all perform certain functions in their small life times and die.
The earth knows its orbit around itself and around the Sun. It goes wherever the Sun goes, in particular orbits – and this serves the purposes of earth and life on earth.
The Sun has a large influence on the life on earth – and probably on the life of earth itself. It has the power to sustain earth and life on earth in many ways.
We say – the moon was a part of earth and became a sub-planet on seceding from the earth due to some reason. That may be, or may not be. There are too many things that we don’t understand about these huge beings – and many of us assume that they are non-intelligent beings, whereas, we, who are created almost entirely from them, think that we are more intelligent beings! This is patently absurd.
The earth which creates our intelligent, thinking system in the human body must have many more capabilities which we don’t understand. After all – we are not even bestowed with the capabilities of most birds, beasts, reptiles and fish on earth. Our reasoning skills are also minimum and not that great.
We can’t even spot the same spot in the Space twice – because the earth is constantly moving away in space. You will never meet the same spot in a hundred life times! Probably the earth can. Probably the sun or the Galaxy can identify such things. We can’t.
Why are the planets orbiting around the Sun? Are they some sort of intelligent progeny of the Sun, born out of an intelligent, cosmic reproductive process? May be.
Is moon some sort of a son or daughter of the earth – born of a cosmic reproductive process? May be. The so called seceding from earth may actually be a cosmically planned reproductive process.
An ancient Sanskrit hymn says – from space came the gases ( say, like hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen etc), from gases came the fire (like, say, the sun and stars), from fire came the liquids ( from cooling off of the gases from fire state into liquid state, say, like water), from liquids came the earth ( by further cooling off of liquids into solid state).
This is said to be the process of formation of earth. Does it hold a cosmic revelation of a constant process going on in the space all over the universe, all the time? The basic process of final formation of all solids appears to be in the same way, as described in this Sanskrit hymn.
If Sun, earth and moon hold so much intelligence, those which gave birth to them, must be holding much more intelligence!!
So, the fire and the air must also be more intelligent. The most intelligent being must be the space, which gave birth to all these bodies.
The space all around us holds infinite intelligence – and this possibly – is available to us, if we know how to tap into it.
These are all distinct possibilities – which we need to understand and investigate. It is much like a white cell trying to understand the man, it is in? May be.
We all know by experience that our intelligence levels, among the human beings, are also not uniform. On a tiny scale of measurement that we can devise – we vary from each other - from one end of the scale to another. Our individual intelligence is nothing much to write about. Do we not know that? We can’t even recall every part of a familiar scene that we have seen a few minutes ago!
We derive our intelligence totally from the earth, water, Sun, Moon, Stars and Space. There is no other source. In fact, they – act as our intelligence. They constitute our brain, our neuron cells, the electricity that flows through them, the thoughts and feelings that they give rise to and so on – and they are all beyond our control.
They constitute our intelligence.
How do we acquire our Intelligence?
1. The first source is – genetics. We acquire a good portion of our potential intelligence through our genealogy. Our parents, their parents and so on are the source of intelligence we inherit.
2. The second source is – our five sensory inputs after our birth. They transmit intelligence from the space outside of us into the brain.
3. The processing and storage medium for the intelligence is our brain, which is however made from the same food, water and other inputs into the body. We know that some foods, some liquids etc make us restless, angry, cool, calm, sexy, happy and so on. So - our genetics, our sensory inputs and the food that we take in, all go to form our Intelligence.
As we earlier discussed, What is our human Intelligence?
It is nothing but the knowledge of the Universe, its laws and their application. Is there any thing else that we can claim to be intelligence? Nothing.
All this Intelligence is strewn all around us – and in us. We can pick up intelligence of the Universe from any where and every where.
Once we look at earth, air, water, space and fire as intelligent beings – and the whole cosmic processes as intelligent processes – our frontiers get extended automatically.
Our intelligence-gathering acquires new dimensions.
The way we look at every thing changes drastically.
Let us explore these new frontiers.
We lose nothing thereby. We have every thing to gain. Even if it is big dreaming – it is still worthwhile.
The ancient science of Vedanta says – right now – we are all in a big dream.
Can we wake up from the dream – into the reality? Or, into a new dream!
